ENNIS MONTANA, THE LAST BEST PLACE!

ENNIS MONTANA....THE LAST BEST PLACE

Here is a little about my town....I Love This Place!

Welcome to Ennis! A lively little Cowboy Town in the heart of the Madison Valley Montana on the Madison River with friendly people and good neighbors. If you are trying to find that special small town, look no further. It has been voted one of the top 20 towns to live by Amercian Cowboy.
The fishing is superb and the hunting is even better. Ennis and Cameron boast huge herds of Elk and Antelope as well as Mule Deer, White Tail Deer, Moose, Bear, Wolf and Mountain Lion.

Testimonials are Important!

Testimonials

Most of my business is based on referrals from my previous clients. Keeping my clients happy is my most important goal. Please read here to see what some of my clients have to say:

A Testimonial from Jeannie and Bill 2012

We have been looking for 3 years for a home within an hour of Bozeman, working with numerous agents - we happened to call on a home Bill had for sale and from the first time we spoke, he was professional, knowledgeable, on top of the market there, and in the end, helped us to purchase a home that wasn't his listing. Bill took the time to understand our needs and our budget, and he stayed within those parameters, unlike many other agents. Bill and his office went above and beyond a number of times, we live 7 hours away and he helped to coordinate showings, offers, helped us to work with the BEST lenders. I would work with Bill again.

A Testimonial from Rachel  2012

Bill is the consummate professional -- courteous, skilled, considerate, trustworthy, responsive. From my first tentative inquiry, Bill took the time to understand my requirements and identified the perfect property for me. Negotiations were completed smoothly. Post-contract he continued to provide all the assistance I needed to have a successful settlement. He goes way beyond what I expect from a real estate agent and is now helping me settle into my brand new community.

Testimonial from the Ron and Vicky 2012

Unbelievable, I have never worked with someone as knowledgeable and on top of things the way Bill was, I had several issues with the condition of the house. Bill was very helpful in locating and/or providing me with the right people I needed to talk with about plumbing, roofing and electrical problems, we were able to negotiate a price on the home that was suitable to both me and the seller. Bill went above and beyond his responsibilities supplying a mountain of paper work to the loan company I was dealing with. Allowing me to close on time. All of this was completed from a distance 300 miles away from the home I purchased.

Testimonial from West Fork Eagle 2012

We have known Bill Mercer since 2007 when he assisted us with purchasing a building site in an upscale subdivision in Ennis, Montana. After building a custom home on our property, we asked Bill to list and sell it which he did within 8 months! Once the listing was signed, marketing materials were prepared and went online on numerous websites. An open house and showings occurred as did local newspaper advertising. We were happy with the offer process and he brought our Buyer to closing before the negotiated contract date. Bill is a personable gentleman whose honesty and integrity blend with his professional attitude of representing his clients to the highest standards in the industry. We believe he's the best Realtor in Montana and we would recommend him highly.

A Testimonial from Jim and Dana 2011

Bill Mercer is the best realtor, in the best state in the West. There is no doubt that he is the hardest working and most knowledgeable real estate professional that I have had the pleasure of working with and; along with his lovely wife Quinn, enabled an absolutely wonderful transaction for everyone involved. He knows the territory extremely well and he knows how to get a deal done. He is honest, discrete, tireless, extremely responsive, and I would not hesitate recommending Bill’s services to anyone looking for real estate in Montana. Also, he is a great fisherman or so I’ve heard…mostly from him.

A Testimonial from Mike  2011

My wife and I meet Bill and Quinn about three years ago and told them that when the time was right we thought that we wanted to buy a home in the Madison Valley. Bill was more than happy to show us around the area and give us a feel for what was available at the time and discussed values of property with us in a very honest manner. We were not ready to act on anything and Bill said not to worry and that he would keep in touch, let us know of new listings and changes in existing listings. The following summer, he graciously showed us more properties but never pushed us to make any offers at all. We still were not ready to buy but were delighted to continue to get a better idea of what was available and what things were worth. The summer of 2010 we got really serious and finally decided to try and buy something. Bill was great in helping us determine values, keeping us from paying too much for one property in particular and finally helping us negotiate a great deal on a wonderful home. They were not only helpful with the purchase but after everything was closed they were even more helpful in getting us in touch with contractors, stone masons, security companies, guy to clear driveway and I could go on and on. Bottom line that they were very patient with us during our three year search and could not have been more helpful both before and after we bought. They are both wonderful people.

A Testimonial from Ron and Lacey

My husband has worked at fish hatcheries in both Idaho, Washington and now in Montana. It is often a requirement for employees to live on-station at the hatcheries, so we lived for about 5 years in "hatchery housing." We were grateful to have the affordable rent and wonderful neighbors, but we dreamed of having our own home someday. In early 2009, my husband was no longer required to live on-station, and in May of 2009, we had our son Colton, so we began our search for a home. We met Bill and Quinn Mercer, and hit it off with them right away. They are a super nice couple, and make a great team! Bill listened to our needs and wants in a home, and got right to work searching all listings. I work in Bozeman and my husband works in Ennis, so we wanted to find something in between the two to lessen my commute. Along the way, we changed our mind on location, price, and then even decided that it wasn't the right time for us to buy. Bill stuck with us very patiently through all of it, showed us several houses, answered my numerous questions, and even met us in Bozeman to show us some houses! Bill always returned phone calls, followed up on any house we were interested in, and even worked on weekends helping us. When we did finally find our first home in McAllister, Bill did a great job getting us a good price, and explaining the home buying process/paperwork. He even got the homeowner to throw in her riding lawn mower with the house!
Overall, we would highly recommend Bill and Quinn Mercer for all real estate needs.

A Testimonial from Dick and Linda, 2010

We think Bill Mercer is the hardest working and most dedicated realtor we have ever met. Even in this slow market, he has sold our properties for us. We feel this is an outstanding accomplishment.

Bill and Quinn are wounderful people and we are delighted to call them our friends.

A Testimonial from Thomas and Shirley F. 2010

We are ever so grateful for Bill and Quinn Mercer for the friendship developed during our short tenure in Ennis, Montana. Both were most helpful in obtaining for us our dream home and then in reselling our dream home to become another's dream. They are professional in every way, and yet remain friends during the process. We had a most wonderful introduction to Ennis on July 4th , 2008 through this lovely couple. The parade, the Veterans Park, the bloody Marys, and Buffalo burgers all came to us through Bill and Quinn Mercer. We would never consider using any other real estate company for our needs in Montana. Our Montana discovery, and our real estate purchase, was a most pleasant experience thanks to Bill and Quinn Mercer.

A testimonial for Bill Mercer from Judy 2007

"Bill Mercer is the "ideal" real estate agent. He is knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and fun. He fits his schedule to work for you. Bill saved me thousands of dollars and really helped broker the dream property for me. I highly recommend him to anyone. I deeply valued his honesty and felt he was trying to get me the best deal.

Thanks again Bill!"

Judy

A Testimonial from the Carol and Stu

" Why choose Madison County for your real estate purchase?... the spectacular canvas of mountain views, antelope spotted meadows, award winning fly fishing, and down to earth people, attracted us.

Bill Mercer helped us find the home and acreage we had envisioned.

We first met via the internet. E-mails led to phone calls. Finally, we flew to Montana for three days of well planned property viewings. Bill's wife, Quinn, even packed a picnic lunch so we could see all of the properties on our list.

The greatest gift that Bill gives to his clients is being himself. We now have a new home and a new friend."

C and S Clarkson, South Carolina

A Testimonial from Mark and Peggy

It is 2008, the housing market is in a slump, buyers are few and far between. I was moving and desperate to sell my house without losing my shirt. Bill Mercer of Prudential Real Estate kept me optimistic and ultimately pulled through. Bill’s tireless marketing, maintaining brochures and signs and showing the house to anyone remotely in the price range paid off. Thanks to Bill with his wife Quinn providing support a serious buyer was found. Bill advised me through an ordeal of counter offers and finally we closed for a fair price, shirt intact. I would recommend Bill Mercer to any buyer or seller I know.

Thanks again Bill and Quinn.

Mark and Peggy

The lively Cowboy town of Ennis has a population of about 1200 and is one of Montana's best loved small towns. It offers outstanding restaurants, a supermarket, golf course, medical clinic, hospital, emergency helicopter services to larger medical facilities, also a variety of fishing and hunting outfitter shops, which offer guide services. Just about six miles south of Ennis is a small airport which has a lighted runway and jet fuel.

The city of Bozeman is about an hour's drive. It is the home to Montana State University. Bozeman has about 40,000 residents plus a large student population. Bozeman has many cultural events as well as world class shopping and fine dining. Gallatin Field Airport is located on the outskirts of Bozeman. Several large commercial airlines such as Delta, United and Northwest have multiple daily flights to and from their hubs in Salt Lake City, Minneapolis and Denver. Private aircraft can use a variety of services from the fixed based operations at Gallatin Field.
